History

Before its purchase and re-naming in 1995 to Transbay Coaches the company was the first major passenger transport enterprise in the Eastern Bay of plenty, Transbay Coaches have since, been operating for almost a decade providing school bus transport and charter services to a wide range of schools, community groups, private and corporate organizations.
With some of the most desirable coastline in New Zealand it is easy to see why scenic and mystery tours are popular excursions.

In 2008 Ranui Buses Opotiki joined the UZABUS group of companies, with around 15 years of service to the local comunity it now fully utilizes the systems and vehicles from the UZABUS fleet to offer improved service and safety for all its customers.
